4. 5. 2026: Guest talk by Yuki Tokunaga „A Study of Long-Established Japanese Companies: Toward a Resilient Mature Society“
We cordially invite you to a guest talk and discussion with Mr Yuki Tokunaga, founder of Culpedia, organised by the Center for Asian Studies (CAS) and the Department of International Economic Relations, at the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business. The event is also co-organised by the Embassy of Japan in the Czech Republic.
The event will take place on Monday, May 4th (9:15-10:45), at the Faculty of International Relations, room No. 322 SB.

Yuki Tokunaga graduated from Waseda University, School of Political Science and Economics. After working as an English-Russian interpreter, he joined Mitsui & Co. in 2015. At Mitsui, he spent four and a half years in overseas business development of steel products and two years studying abroad in Israel before being transferred to the in-house think tank, Mitsui Bussan Institute for Strategic Studies, Inc. During his time at the general trading company, he was in charge of a total of 100 countries in regions including East Asia, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia, North America, Central America, the Middle East, and Africa. He has also participated in Y7/Y20, the official adjunct to the G7 and G20 Summits, serving as the Japan Representative to the Y7 Ise-Shima Summit in 2016, Chair of the Y20 Osaka Summit in 2019 (agenda: Environment and Economy), and Special Envoy to the Y7 Hiroshima Summit Co-chair of G7/G20 Youth Japan from 2023 to 2024. He has written articles for Shinchosha, Diamond, Bungei Shunju, Kodansha, and The Mainichi (Mainichi Shimbun English edition).He has written more than 50 articles.
