5. 11. 2025: Conference on the Republic of Korea and Central Europe Cooperation
We cordially invite you to the Conference on the Republic of Korea and Central Europe Cooperation, organized by the Center for Asian Studies (CAS) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Czech Republic and the Faculty of International Relations.
The conference will take place on Wednesday, November 5th (9:00-12:30, in the rector’s meeting room, No. NB 169), at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
The conference brings together leading scholars and experts to explore two of the most pressing issues shaping today’s world: the fragility of global economic security and the intensifying political frictions across Asia and beyond. Amid disruptions in trade flows and the reconfiguration of supply chains in the post-Covid era, questions of resilience, vulnerability, and adaptation remain central to economic debates. At the same time, rising tensions and shifting power balances are redefining international relations and regional dynamics. With insights from South Korean and Central European experts, the conference highlights how different regions perceive and respond to these challenges, offering a timely platform for critical reflection, exchange of perspectives, and the search for viable strategies in an era of global uncertainty.
